Structura programului

Programul Coaching Leadership in Practice durează patru zile. În primul rând și în primele două zile, vă concentrați pe abordarea de coaching și pe modul de a beneficiați de toată eficiența angajaților dumneavoastră. În al doilea rând, în celelalte două zile pornim de la propriul nostru model propeller® care clarifică modul în care trebuie să găsești echilibru în pozițiile de coach, manager și lider. În concluzie, abia atunci când sunt echilibrate cele trei roluri diferite, obțineți un propeller puternic și acționați cu energie deplină spre obiective și rezultate. Un propeller dezechilibrat face contrariul.

Lucrul unic în ceea ce privește trainingurile oferite de CoachCompanion în leadership este faptul că avem o abordare holistică - ceea ce înseamnă că privim leadershipul dintr-o perspectivă holistică bazată pe cele trei roluri - manager, lider și coach. Așa-numitul model propeller aparține în totalitate CoachCompanion. Descrie importanța de a avea echilibru între abilitatea de a fi un manager obiectiv, un lider inspirațional și un coach receptiv. În plus, pe parcursul programului instrumente concrete pe care le poți folosi de îndată ce ajungi acasă. Mai multe workshopuri și mai puțină teorie. Training de learship în practică!

Programul include:
  • 4 zile de training de la 09:00 la 17:00.
  • Cartea “Coaching leadership in practice – The Propeller method” și toate materialele de training create de CoachCompanion.
  • Susținere pe parcursul trainingurilor la cererea participanților.
  • Coaching alături de ceilalți participanți la program (voluntar, dar recomandat).
  • Acces gratuit în comunitatea de ALUMNI CoachCompanion. 
  • Cafea, ceai și prăjituri. Mic dejun și prânz.

Aveți în vedere că mărimea unei grupe este de 12 participanți, iar toate sesiunile vor fi fizice, la sediul CoachCompanion România, în inima Clujului.

The coaching aprproach este un training de două zile cu un mix de teorie și exerciții. Pe parcursul acestor zile, primești instrumente pe care le poți lua și folosi în afacerea ta.

Primești instrumente pentru dezvoltarea ascultării active, adresarea de întrebări cu impact, obiective și viziune, valori în viața profesională și unelte simple pentru motivarea angajaților și îmbunătățirea procesului de feedback.

Presentation of the Propeller model and what it means. Self-assessment based on the model. Prerequisites required for the propeller method to work. Consequences if it doesn’t. Who am I as a clear manager, inspirational leader and responsive coach.

The unplanned conversation. The difficult conversation. Conflict. To coach more than one person at the same time.

Învățare prin experimentare

Învățarea prin experimentare este cel mai eficient mod de a dobândi noi abilități care rămân cu tine. Vei obține instrumente concrete pe care le poți pune imediat în practică, în timp ce vei simți impactul lor asupra ta. Toate programele noastre se bazează pe acest tip de învățare: acest lucru înseamnă că rareori folosim prezentări și în zilele de curs. Învățarea se face prin multă practică și exerciții prin care participanții învață făcând, observând, experimentând, prin auto-reflectare și feedback de la ceilalți participanți, lucruri esențiale pentru a crea conștientizare și a avea impact. Desigur, materialele și teoria sunt trimise la sfârșitul fiecărui modul, dar cheia este practica.

Volcano® Coaching

Volcano® coaching este o abordare holistică asupra coachingului. Folosim această metaforă pentru a ne referi la sursa de energie "adormită" a potențialului neexplorat pe care îl aducem la viață prin coaching. Pentru rezultate pe termen lung, am descoperit că conștientizarea de sine este elementul cheie pentru a ajuta clienții să-și atingă obiectivele. Ancorarea obiectivelor într-o bază solidă asigură îndeplinirea lor. Toți cei peste 15 ani de experiență în coaching se regăsesc în această abordare puternică și modernă de a face coaching. Prin exerciții atent selectate vei stabili un obiectiv cunoscând adevăratul sine și valorile clientului. Prin cunoașterea darurilor și talentelor pe care le ai și prin conștientizarea viselor și viziunilor tale găsești energia și puterea; și în asta îți găsești motivația de a-ți atinge obiectivele.

Lucrurile pe care pui accentul se dezvolta! Acesta este un lucru care ne ghidează în calitate de coach-i și este, de asemenea, adânc înrădăcinat în modul nostru de formare și în modul în care decurg programelor noastre de coaching. Cu abordarea de coaching ai o încredere fermă în clientul tău și îi vezi potențialul. Nu ai nevoie de cineva sa îți spună ce e rău, crești atunci când cineva îți oferă feedback despre lucrurile pe care le faci bine. Ne bazăm pe ceea ce există deja și funcționează pentru că tu ai potențialul, iar răspunsul se află în tine. Ca participant la programele noastre, vei experimenta profund ce înseamnă acest lucru și cum să îl transmiți mai departe către clienții tăi și în relațiile tale personale și profesionale.

În plus, CoachCompanion încurajează participanții să participe la Fika în toate zilele de training. Fika este o tradiție suedeză de socializare alături de o cafea și delicii suedeze. Astfel, le oferim participanților noștri un început de zi delicios, cu mic dejun, iar după-amiază, o pauză de cafea cu gustări organice. What is Coaching Leadership?​

Coaching Leadership refers to the leadership style in which the leader applies coaching skills and cultivates a coaching approach and a coaching mindset as part of their leadership style.

Do you need to be a professional coach in order to be a coaching leader? Not necessarily! Of course, that would be ideal: having a thorough coach education will deepen the experience of what coaching is both professionally and personally and you can better pass that forward to those around you, but you can definitely apply coaching in your leadership style without being a professional coach and still witness the tremendous advantages that this will bring both to you and your team.

Challenges that coaching leadership addresses.

As a leader you need to find and nurture the talents in your team, while keeping your focus on achieving business results.

  • How do you keep your team members engaged and motivated?
  • How do you reconcile the human behind the employee with the business needs?
  • How do you encourage people to be accountable for their work?
  • How do you time-balance management meetings with unplanned meetings and 1-on-1s?

These are just a couple of challenges leaders face today. Coaching leadership proves that as a leader you don’t need to overburden yourself with other people’s responsibilities and have a solution for everything that comes your way. These are a several benefits of adopting a coaching leadership style. As a coaching leader:

You know yourself and the members of your team. This means you understand what drives you and other people, what is your working style and what is others’ working style. Understanding this means communication is efficient and that any conflicts and misunderstandings that arise will be handled with ease. Moreover, you will know where the company mission and values align with the personal values and motivation of the employees, so lack of engagement becomes a problem of the past.

You delegate efficiently. You don’t feel pressured to help everyone with everything and provide a solution to everyone’s problems. Besides the fact that this will enable you to relax and focus on high-impact and strategic endeavors, it will empower team members, make them feel capable and encourage them to use their creativity and natural abilities.

You know how to manage your time. Tired of being forever busy? You don’t have to be. A coaching leader is efficient and clear when it comes to rules and boundaries. You understand your priorities and are careful with your time, while at the same time nurturing the same autonomy and accountability inside your team.

You have a team that thrives and business results that show it. You trust each team member’s abilities, acknowledge their efforts and master the art of giving feedback. Because of this, employees feel appreciated, eager to invest their energy into the work they do, express their creativity and apply their expertise. This leads to both desired business results and employee satisfaction.

For anything to work and generate impactful results it is important for the experience to be real, authentic. In order to become a coaching leader, it is important first of all for you to truly experience the power of coaching. Based on the CoachCompanion model for coaching leadership the first step is to internalize the coaching approach in yourself and afterwards to balance your roles as a manager, leader and coach based on the Propeller Method® for Leadership. This concept was introduced by Christina Lagnelius, the founder of CoachCompanion Sweden and is fully described in her book Coaching leadership in practice: The Propeller Method™

The Coaching Approach – 5 pillars of coaching

There are 5 main coaching skills that build upon one another and make you a coaching leader. This is the basis for our leadership programs (Coaching Leadership in Practice), but it is also available as an introductory module in coaching and applicable in multiple life areas (Abordarea de Coaching).

1. Active listening

Active listening means to consciously focus on what the person in front of you is saying and not on yourself and what you plan to reply. It means to pay attention to the words they use, the tone of voice, body language and observe everything without judgement.

2. A positive view of people

It is quite easy to see faults in ourselves and in others and we are so used to it that it is surprising and refreshing to focus on the positive. It means to consciously choose to see what a persona is good at, not what they are lacking; to choose to see their strengths and what you appreciate about them. It also means to trust that they have the capacity to solve anything they put their minds to. As a coaching leader you need to see yourself this way first of all in order to instill this in others.

3. Powerful questions

It comes so easy to us to share experiences and give advice because we all have our own experiences to relate to, our learnings and way of doing things that we want to pass forward to the others. How about we stop for a moment and ask ourselves instead: “What does the person in front of me really need?”. We don’t know for sure that our advice is what they need, what works for us does not necessarily work for them and the other way around. Instead, we can approach other people with genuine curiosity and interest: ask them open-ended and simple questions that encourage them to share even more and make them feel seen and truly listened to.

4. Appreciation

What we focus on grows. That is why seeing the positive in people and showing appreciation for that is crucial. Again, what we focus on grows: when we focus on fixing what we don’t like we perpetually make ourselves and those around us feel like we are damaged, broken, not enough. When we consciously choose to see the good and appreciate it in ourselves and others, we will do it even more and it makes things we don’t like to fade in importance. What is crucial about appreciation is for it to be sincere, otherwise it will not work.

5. Bring it all together into a conversation model

Active listening, a positive view of humans, powerful questions and appreciation are very strongly connected and one cannot work without the other. The more you practice and use them as a coaching leader you will see the benefits on multiple levels. By bringing these elements together into how you converse with other people you will clarify what the conversation is really about and make the shift from what you don’t want to what is desired. And this is a recipe for success in many endeavors.

Balance your propeller – be a clear manager, inspiring leader and attentive coach

the propeller methodHaving the coaching approach is a pre-requisite for the propeller to work and with the coaching approach everything falls into place easily. You already have each blade of the propeller inside you. It is important to become aware of where you are now and what is it that you want to strengthen.

The manager blade is based in the organization: you are a manager when you set straight rules and objectives, when you give security and clear frameworks.

The leader blade in based in yourself: you are a leader when you inspire those around you through the passion that you have for you work and give energy through your vision of success.

The coach blade is based in the employee: you are a coach when you listen, ask, support and create action plans based on the employee’s wishes and goals.

Depending on the context you use different blades of the propeller in your leadership role and not only. This model is so flexible and applicable in multiple roles of our life: as a parent, friend, partner, when it comes to your self-management or in various job roles, such as a trainer, teacher or salesperson.
